Drugs chemically alter the brain to make you act in a different manner, both on a high and on a comedown. Games don't directly alter your thinking in the same way at all. Yes kids might be idiots to each other because of them, but is that because of games, or are they simply the excuse for it?pinkaardvark said:oh and if you want evidence of the problems look at the japanese playground where kids won't even talk to each other unless they have the same handheld and most go home and don't go out but sit in tiny rooms glued to a screen. Technology is making a significant negative impact on their culture and it's just the tip of the iceberg. Who's to say what such a lack of social interaction will result in the psyches of kids of tommorrow.

There were bullies in school when I was a kid, and plenty of people who didn't interact socially with one another without games provoking them. Remember the fights over Pokemon cards? Kids are ****s to each other with or without computer games.
