I sold my HD PVR a while back and sadly Twitch streaming has been delayed until 2014 -_- I haven't bought it yet myself, I will probably do so on Monday. Can maybe record a few sets and upload to youtube.
 
Loving it so far, spent good 2 hours practing moves and UUUUUUULLLLLLLLLLLLTTTTTTTRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!! 's
 
Got my code through for my free copy tonight, will have to remember to download it tomorrow. I've never played a KI game before though, so I'll have to practise before I play anyone from here.
 
Played an hour or so of this just now. It's good fun, perhaps lacking a bit of depth (though I knew that going in). Never played KI before so still getting to grips with the combos and stuff.

Oh... And I suck at it :D
 
Played a few hours over the weekend. I'm loving the pick up and play feel of this game. The standard combos are easy to pull off. I've seen some crazy combos online.

I've bought the combo pack but haven't touched any of the characters except Jago so far.
 
Just a heads up there's a massive 3GB patch out! Unsure what's included but damn that's big for a patch.
 
I started playing this last night, it's incredibly fun but I just cannot play with a pad anymore it feels awful. I would love to wait until Qanba release a dual platform stick but there's been no mention of that at all, I may have to get a TE2 despite it's ridiculous price.

I didn't even realise it was coming out

Used to play the original KI on snes,n64 + arcade and after watching some of the videos on youtube think this is one game I would love :D

Don't think I'll be buying a new console at the moment tho :(

I love that they have the announcer

completed on arcade with 0 continues with Fulgore and ULTRA'd the last boss in a busy arcade, had 10-15 people stood behind me and most of arcade looked around when the announcer said "ULTRAAAAA COMBO!" haha so much nostalgia :D
 
I'm having real problems playing against Glacius online (he's the only character I lose to it seems) because he's so rangy.

I'm playing as Jago at the moment and all I seem to be able to do is unsafe jumps towards him (which results in an anti air from him).

He's like Dhalsim but at normal speed!

Any tips?
 
is it just me or is the d pad awful for this? the dpad was supposed to be improved specifically for fighting games I thought. I find it harder to execute moves than on the 360 pad. Jago is essentially a ken/ryu street fighter clone and I am already pretty competent at all his moves but most of the time they dont execute.
 
I think the d pad is pretty good. At least as good as the PS3 one.

The problem is, it's in the wrong place, (which is my complaint with the PS3/4 analogue stick, haha) but there has to be a compromise. Most games will use the analogue stick.

Hopefully a fight pad will be released at some point (I'm no good with fight sticks and they're too expensive).
 
I just struggle with a controller, I'm not the best fighting game fan but I love a Fight Stick, only picked one up a few months ago and I'm in love with it, I struggle to use a pad as it burns out my thumb on the d pad at least.
 
I quite like this game actually, I bought it mainly for the kids but it's getting played a fair bit. Am I right in thinking the next 2 characters will be free if you've bought the £16 package?
 
I tried it for the first time last night. Was awesome, but having played SF on a stick I think I'm going to have to pad hack my current TE because my thumb is KILLING me! lol
