Killing a fox?

Even if it is legal, it is not moral to simply kill a living creature because it is in your garden. Yes, it killed your rabbit, but it was simply being a predatory animal. I would call the RSPCA and see if they can relocate it, or, simply, leave it the hell alone.

Surely as humans, we are predatory, and therefore, by your own logic, it is ok to kill the fox....

the fox is allowed to kill the rabbit, so we must be allowed to kill the fox.

Get a better fence around the garden

We have our male sheepdog to fence away from the chickens -he looks more like a wolf than a dog :)

Had to get a thicker fence after he gnarled his way through the old one and killed 4/6 chickens

You should train your dog better, a working animal that kills should be destroyed.

Since when did we need to kill a fox to eat and survive? We are hardly predatory. I wouldn't call the mass-breeding and slaughtering of chickens, for example, predatory.

If the OP had no other means of getting food, then yes, killing it to eat and survive would be a matter of predation. That, however, is not the case. This is about removing the fox because it is a bother.

Apples and Oranges, I'm afraid.

And don't go visiting my logic. Thank you.
