It is so maddening, i want to complain but worried this might attract a black mark against my address which is worrying due to the amount of post i get.

Seriously cant wait to get this fired up esp as a mate ordered from the same shop about 3 weeks before me and didnt get his dispatched until this morning :) Simple epeen pleasures

Leaving a note definately helps :) My tin copy has been dispatched today so hopefully be getting it tomorrow.. oooh yeahh!
 
Mine arrived today.

No time to play it yet, but I did turn the PS3 on, and stick the disk in, just to see if it needed installing, or any patch already out to be downloaded, so that it would be ready to go when I am ready to play it.

Nope! Not even the option to install to HDD!

Anyway, I did sit down and watch the intro movie, which I thought was bloody brilliant... reminded me of Starship Troopers somewhat, and the music playing, and.... it really got me worked up, and looking forward to playing it.

So, time to hurry up and get jobs done, and I'll be free for some Killzone 2 this afternoon.

Played the first 2 sections/levels I'm not sure, loving it so far and my aim is slowly improving, I agree the intro definitely has a starship troopers vibe, graphics are amazing, the sound is brilliant, I've got a 5.1 set up and my room is shaking with the bass, good job no one else is home, I'm pretty sure I'm annoying the neighbours though :)

Time for some food then back to it.
 
Postman has been but no sign of a missed delivery form, hopefully it's coming in a separate delivery or something as mine was one of the first to be despatched it seems.
 
got mine, completed 1st level, went straight for Vet dificulty, so far been easy enough. Just had a look at next level before turning off and it looked intense, lol
 
Got mine today. No patch required no HD install just put the BD in and play. Amazing intro movie one of the best ever made for sure. Music is very good. Some intense firefights so far. Technically its awesome with minimal loading times and only minor stuttering now & again. Controls are just like the demo so need a little adjustment to account for this.
 
I've noticed some loading issues. It can freeze for almost second sometimes as it tries to catch up loading.
 
Hmmm, strange, it seems my copy hasn't arrived, just rang the shop i ordered from an they told me it should have been delivered today. This makes me worry that it has in fact been lost in the post which could potentially mean waiting ages.

Mines at home and Im working from home tommorow and Friday though for legit reasons. Only problem is that Ive got about 4hrs+ worth of conference calls tomorrow so wont have a chance until tomorrow evening...

Ohh my word some of the explosions in this game are cinema quality. The cutscenes are pure genius is a little ripped from terminator. It gives me the same feeling i had when i played Halo for the first time except i feel more involved. My squad buddies seem to be cannon fodder which is fun to watch :) MP after this i think
 
rp - sort out the OcUK clan name before we get that silly OUK thing again...

Ive always like StK (Skills that Kill) tbh, but Im ghey :p - though your suggestions are usually worse ;)...
