A console FPS isnt some special reality where no other control system exists and considering the flak this game has been getting about its controls I think comparing it to the ideal setup in most peoples eyes is fair but somewhat pointless...

I gave up PC gaming ever since I got my PS3 and I played FPS's on the PC ever since the original Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake ect. Strangely I dont feel the need to compare controls between the two systems which may seem idiotic to you but makes a lot of sense to me.
 
I personally don't see the point in comparing controls when it's a console exclusive game. Sure compare the likes of farcry 2 and cod4/5 as they're cross platform and thus you have a choice. With Killzone 2 there is no choice, it's pad or nowt, personally i'd rather choose pad and enjoy what is hopefully a great game.
 
I think people who get so tied up about not having uber accuracy and what not without their mouse and keyboard need to lighten up and just enjoy the experience for what it is. I used to swear by KB+M playing hardcore HLDM, CS etc etc so i get why some people can't get used to/accept a control pad, but seriously stick with it and it will feel just as natural in no time at all.

Oh and my copy has arrived :D
 
high hopes for this one.... sitting here waiting on the postie....first time ordering from that place hope they can live up to their promises.

ohh no comparison at all between pc and console fps please thats another thread (a very very long one) ive played a lot of pc fps - and here i am waiting on the console fps messiah to arrive.

Not so happy about seeing one of them do a little victory dance when he killed me though :mad:

from jersey place? They normally send it first class iir but not recorded or anything so how would I go about tracking it? :)

has anyone else ordered from shopto i ordered the limited edition version for 32 quid last night which i thought was a good deal, they say that it should arrive on the day it is released which is today but ive never ordered from them before. Im waiting on the postman to deliver the goodz!
