No, honestly don't get the giotek one. It costs as much but is nowhere as good as the official headset. The place that delivers within 24 hours has some of the official one in stock, if you order it now you should have it by tomorrow.


The game is growing on me, though one of the coolest things about the game has also screwed me over twice now; that is the realistic ragdoll effect. On two occasions now i've just missed enemies with grenades and the shock wave has knocked them off of something, in one case a platform and in another a bridge. The result of this is they've landed below, then got to their feet as they normally would. However, in these areas ive had to kill all enemies, so have spent a good 10 mins looking around, then i run past the edge and get shot, at this point i realize they're down below, stranded there taking pot shots at me.

Quite cool in a way i guess, but ultimately frustrating.

Does anyone know how many people you are allowed in a squad ? loving the multiplayer so far . also how many are we allowed in clans thats if anyone has set one up if so whats the name ?
 
Just been and picked up my copy :) Going Karting straight after work tonight though so I guess I will have to wait until later to play it :(

I guess it depends how intelligent you are then.
Becomes annoying to continousely have the AI players going on and on and on. Nothing wrong with humour but lacks a bit of imagination regards a script or even caring to listen after the 3rd level of F S A outbursts.

This annoys me in films when the swearing is OTT. A small complaint i'm sure but it does begin to grind after a while.

I can't wait to get home and play this. I have a brand new PS3 sitting at home waiting for me which I was unable to setup last night. Should be able to get a few hours in tonight :D

Yes because no one in the real military swears and I'm not as intelligent as you for thinking otherwise.

Maybe people do swear a lot when they are being shot at in a war zone, I don't know I've never been in a real war but I imagine I wouldn't be saying "golly gosh I do believe we are being shot at old bean".
 
its 4 to a squad.


game reminds me of a cut-down version of bf2142. Problem with Killzone 2 is everyone starts the same and it takes a while to rank up to a speciality - so if you suck at basic soldiering you just have to suck it up and perservere.

atm there are zero medics so everyone dies.

also gonna have to look at controllers for this game...the DS2 is hellish aiming. Im a leftie so i naturally use the mouse for aiming left hand etc but with this im having to aim with right hand which is really quite hard.

Also at times i wonder if everyone is in the same boat (ie using console controllers)
will give it a week before i decide to sell/trade it in

4 per squad and i think 64 per clan. Ive ranked up enough to create a clan but want feed back on names for it etc
 
tbh i can understand that because some ppl might prefer not to be a twitch gunman and prefer to play a more team role so maybe they see themselves as just ranking up so they can actually play the role they bought the game for? (medic, sniper/spotter, engineer, tactician etc)

i dont see why the devs didnt let ppl choose a role at the start they want to play and then they can RANK within that role?
 
Just noticed that on the US PSN (not sure bout PAL) they have a Killzone 2 Strategy Videos bundle for $6, wonder how long it will take before they get stuck on you tube lol.

Has anyone used the shotgun cause i have just been nailed big time buy 3 people with something like a shotgun blast :( it hurt need a squad badly
