Killzone 3 Beta News

download it twice both times i have got the corrupt message so deleted re booted my ps3 and i still get this problem :(
Any one got any ideas how to solve this on my 3rd time so any suggestions would be welcome :confused:

No probs with mine, didnt play it but downloaded and installed in 15 mins, updated to 2.02 with 60 odd meg update. Perhaps if it doesnt work leave it a while servers are probably getting hammered at the moment. Leave it in you download list and switch on the auto update it will download and install it for you over night.
 
Downloaded it and gave it a few hours. Gameplay wise I was impressed enough, there are good classes to pick from and the maps seemed good. Graphically it's crazy, really really nice.

I was late to the KZ2 party and have only really played single-player with a bit of MP but with KZ3 if it stays like this I'd happy plough a ton of hours in.
 
Drom the videos I have seen of KZ3 it looked a lot like KZ2, is it really different?
You say graphically it's crazy, is that compared to KZ2?
Any other changes they made in game speed, aiming, A.I. or guns?

Game plays faster, no lag, less recoil guns dont seem as heavy, no so sure about how much auto aim is affected yet as only played a brief game against bots last night. I would say its more COD crowd friendly but not so much to not feel like Killzone 2.
 
Played a bot match and a MP match, it does look a lot like kz2, but the levels have an extra level of polish to them, which is fair enough tbh, else it wouldn't feel like killzone.
Recoil has been reigned in a bit, which I don't like, but that might just be the weapon I was using.
Not really going to be able to dip in properly until Thurs, but so far its impressed me.
Looks like fallout NV will be heading back to lovefilm, I'm not going to be able to give it any more time before my trial ends. Helghan is for the Helghast!

Btw, no Move support.
 
It's hard... but then I didn't play Killzone 2 so maybe it would be hard for me. I just seem to spawn, die, spawn, die. I'm not bad at CoD and other FPS games but this is just punishing, it feels very claustrophobic, or at least the map I played felt that way. The graphics are stunning, I'll give it more time later on. :)

Yes but I haven't had a chance to play with them yet, I've only played a team deathmatch as a medic where I was repeatedly raped and nobody on my team waited for me to heal them, so a lot of deaths were me running into the line of fire to revive someone only to find out they press the spawn button just as I got there... -_-
 
what time will everyone be on tonight this game requires more team work than the 2nd one , all the better for a team medic like myself :D
I played last night with a full squad and what a game the graphics are breathtaking the controls are sweet and the exo suits and jet packs bring something new to the table .

We have a ocuk chat setup so it should not be that hard to hustle us together for a few matches , will be on after 6pm tonight if anyone fancy,s like joining ;)
 
Is everyone on the Beta at present just Plus members who got in early and normal Sony Beta testers?

If i manage to get any spare codes i will pass 1 on to you , but the chances of that is slim at the moment i did apply a few times on twitter as well so fingers crossed ;)
 
had a few games now, is it just me but is the audio ( voip ) worse than in the old version, i could barely hear stella in-game, could just be my headset as audio was weird in game, running along and hearing my own footsteps behind me to the right.
