Killzone 3(maybe official thread?)

Hrm, Warzone is quite fun. You get a bit of slowdown due to the number of players. I find that at close range, hip firing is most effective than ADS. The Sniper rifle (second one) is random at long range (had the agoc site) but deadly hip firing.
 
Plus i seem to suck bad at this game compared to Black Ops. I probably need more map knowledge. It plays real different in multiplayer too.
 
One more day is all I'm giving this. Sick to death of grenades now. Sick to death of Infiltrators. Sick to death of only being able to kill someone in the back - always losing a one-on-one face fight. :mad: :mad:

Tried multiplayer today (Warzone only) as a medic. First few games I was getting royally hammered K/d of 4:16 and 2:7. Then once I got the hang of it and started learning the maps the next game I came top with around 5k of points and kd of 27:20. Really started to enjoy it after that. If you play for the objectives and have a good team it's quite a rewarding game.
 
LOL ;). You should have joined us, only time I get annoyed is when I playing crap and getting owned with stupid things. Doing better than I expected so far...

Will be on from 7pm tonight hope everyone is up for some more organised matches than last night :(
we thought we had a match in the bag until we lost both spawns on corinth highway .we need to hold the spawn with the wasp missle launchers at the top which wookiee uses a lot its important due to the size of the map :) and its the best sniping lookout on the map :D

also just found out that the marksman has a useful ability that allows you to scramble the enemy radar when your close to them really helpful for the capture and hold missions .

Not sure on how you go about entering tournament as a clan but would not mind trying it out if there is enough of us one night , or if its a similar to kz2 with the valour system :confused:
Is there away for other people to invite to the clan besides the clan leader got a few that are on most nights so it would be good to be able to recruit them so we can get a few matches organised .

Maybe playing with you rather than against you like last night :)

Got to say though, I'm a bit like a headless chicken in this. I just have no idea what I am supposed to be doing.

will add you so you can join our lobby tonight then hopefully you will have more time to soak in and remember the maps being in a squad .
There are some maps we avoid like the plague pyrrhus crater but would'nt mind playing them if we had a full squad and managed to join when its 0-0 hope they bring pyrrhs map pack from kz2 it was brill .
 
I think we need to start being more based on tachs and engineers than anything (medics meh and marksman/infli are there to annoy the other team as much as they annoy us :p) - find it impossible sometimes being the sole tach with multiple points to cover, its useful when wookies on but even then we can get rushed (always seem to get done over by multiple tachs teaming up). We dont seem to employ the same tactics so that needs to improve, aswell as comms chatter that isnt that informative...

I was useless last night - just getting outgunned and making poor decisions, its annoying when we squad up and join a game thats pretty much already won because the enemy holds the territory and is spawning out of it constantly...

@Dina/ak - sorry I tapped out a lot, just not used to having a medic, especially when a spawn point is so near - would help my deaths I guess?

We all have our bad days no need to apologise mate, I have been playing this for few hours now trying to find the right class.

Tatiction: I have all the unlocks all I can say is "wow", this class changes the tide or battle in an instance, capturing spawns and the ability to scan radar is a must have in any squad. The 3rd unlock (rifle) is best weapon in my opinion, paired up with Rocket launcher for killing snipers/Exco suits is great combo.

Medic I will still stick by him, they are very helpful at key moments just need to hang back a bit and be good on the comos, I found today many times when my team were running with the speaker, and bombing targets a quick revive its great. But I know what you mean ps3ud0 the class is lacking at the moment only issue I have with them is the range, and not being able to select the revive tool manually and the cool down, which I am told bye developer it will be patched.

The next class which I will unlock engineer as I enjoy playing support roles, I hate seeing unprepared ammo crates & no turrets when defeding!

I don't mind playing either one of these 3 classes.
 
Im gonna concentrate on Tach and Infli (still need to unlock both lvl 3 guns for both) and Engineer. I think Tach and Engineer work very well together, one controls spawn the other protects them and makes them useful (nothing is worse than a spawn point that has no nearby ammo dumps wspecially with how bad the initial loadout is :/)

Inflis just good fun but weve started playing people that are noobs so a lot arent stupid enough not to notice one of 'theirs' heading the wrong way with their back to enemy etc...

I honestly have no passion for the remaining classes though I will start doing Medic unlocks once Ive got the other three done (dont think Ive unlocked anything for Engineer yet).

Yes, tactician seems very good. We won a big battle by little old me capturing 3 of 4 spawn points. The enemy were buggered. Especially when you get Tactics+, you can generally capture the spawn to a least neutral before the enemy have a chance to come back. :D

Infiltrator does have its uses, thier secondary tier 3 ability is handy, plants and defuses bombs twice as fast as anyone else and good for taking out all the snipers who camp near thier own spawns and also their unlimited stamina which is good for getting around a map ethier to/from objectives or carrying the propaganda, just a shame the 2 1st primary weapons are only good at close range.
 
Opps also forgot infil is good when u have to assassinate they enemy team player, like when i ran past 4 of his 'bodyguards' and broke his neck before they realized i was there.
 
Any tips for Infil? I just find myself missing melees or running at a person and they spot me with ease (I know its my noob fault walking into crosshairs). Not had a chance to use their 3rd Tier secondary so need to look into that...

Really should hit botzone and learn which weapons I like, I seem to default to Tach just because I love the SMG...

Get the full 1st tier which means you need to be real close for them to see thru the disguise, by that time it should be too late for them, also silent footsteps is handy and proximity mines, can sneak in and throw 1 onto an enemy and when they walk past someone else it goes off, double kill :D ( can do that with friendlys as well, sure ive done it to u poly), the smg on the infil is better just to fire from the hip or so i have found as it range is pretty poor.
