Killzone 3(maybe official thread?)

Yeah 24 hours, you get 3 ability points right off the bat along with double xp and all weapons/abilities unlocked it's pretty nice. 3.5 hours of play and I'm at level 15, I tried some marksman last night really enjoyed it. Never was much of a sniper in any FPS game really but for some reason in Killzone 3 I just find it a lot of fun, probably because I'm invisible as I'm doing it lol. One thing that is shocking to me is people not using the benefits that a certain class gives them for example Medics not reviving people and Engineers not repairing things, you can get mega points doing those things.
 
How many people play this regularly? we have a Overclocker clan btw but its lacking a full squad, We need recruiters!
 
Now that REALLY is it for me. This game has become just like MAG now that everyone has levelled up. You run, get shot. Spawn, run, get shot. Spawn, get shot. Spawn, run, get shot. I can't take it anymore.

You can easily rank you just choose one class and you get there fast mate, give this game time its very hard at 1st
 
Blast and dammit. The details for patch 1.04 look to alleviate some of my bugbears (highlighted in bold). Looks like I will just get the damn thing again to try these fixes. :D


CHANGES & NEW FUNCTIONALITY

Network - Lag fixes and fixes for network errors 10002, 8001 and 8013
Gameplay - Players now have more stamina by default. Sprint length is increased but the recharge timer has been adjusted to compensate
Gameplay - Mortally wounded players no longer have collision. Alive players should now be able to traverse the levels without getting stuck on mortally wounded players
Gameplay - Medic's revive cool-down reduced from 25 to 10 seconds
Gameplay - Increased range from where friendly players can be revived - player can be revived from 20 meters
Gameplay - Guerrilla Warfare games now last 15 minutes and it takes 100 kills instead of 50 to win

Performance – Improvements to party creation server load
Menu - Show envelope icon to indicate that player has received message
Menu - Rewards panel in post game screen now auto-scrolls
Menu - Botzone is now paused when player goes to start menu
Menu - Single click squad invite
Menu - Enhanced idle detection code in menu, the player isn’t spawned if he’s still pressing buttons
Security - Several security, anti hack and cheat fixes

Prefect just need the Health packs now : )
 
Yep the medic recharge and revive range is going to be good, was crap before needed to be practically ontop of someone to revive them, and usually you would be killed by the same person that killed them.
 
when does this update take effect , tonight i have done my first rage quit due to everyone i shot at just popped me of in 1 yet sometimes i would bury half a clip into them without a scratch :(

Had some really good games of operation earlier with din ironak wookie eyetrip and synthetic well done lads we won 4 on the bounce and cannot believe we won attacking on frozen dam , its the first time ive seen the dam collapse looked like the helghast needed there arm bands and lilo's at the ready :D

Well, I can't seem to keep away from the MP on this, as frustrated as I get with it. So instead of selling as soon as finished single player, will wait til the 1.04 patch and see what that brings.

Hoping it will sort some performance issues out.

Wish they would drop warzone to 8 v 8 though.
 
I've unlocked the big sniper rifle now, wonder if it's any good?

its a brilliant piece of equipment press up on digital pad to zoom in .
its even good for taking people out the exo suits in one shot or shooting the people who are defusing or activating the bomb plant on some open maps .
 
Is the final 2 engineer repair kits worth getting? Not sure effective hacking enemy turret is or should skip them go for marksman?

This game is so much better in a squad. Played with a few of my friends tonight and it was loads of fun.
Unlocked the triage++ for the medic. It's excellent! The amount of people that down you but don't finish you off is unreal. You just revive yourself then break their neck from behind:cool:
 
Yeah the only way I enjoy it is in squads, me wookie, stella, eyetrip and synthetic had some great games today. brion if you ever want to team up with us add me to psn we usually have 5-6 people in squad.
