Thats the beauty of playing in a squad with dedicated classes i play as engineer and tach when needed.
most of it is ocuk team work and sheer determination to win the game even if all of us in squad are negative kpd :cool: we still get the flawless victories and there is how i get a lot of points ;)
 
Heres some news i have been waiting for :D i was hoping for some more match making fixes but maybe they will get round to it sooner or later .
Will be on tonight from 8pm hopefully get some fun games in .

Hey all,

The next patch is incoming. We don’t know exactly when the patch will be released yet, but we are aiming for the beginning of next week. It will go live at the same time world wide and we will also be doing a server update around that time to support the patch.

Patch 1.08 Contents list:

Fix for DLC map rotation - Matchmaking will make the closest possible match based on the maps players have and other players online. All maps will be included in the map voting when rolling over to the next round
Fix for a network error (5022) after respawning in Pyrrhus Crater
Fix for a crash in Kaznan Jungle at the end of the round
Fix for a crash in 16 user Custom Games on Corinth Highway
Once we have a solid date and time we will update you.

Ah, I'm used to playing alone so I don't bother with the objectives.

Thats the aim of the game though doing objectives so you win :p;) got to be honest though you get 1.25 x even if you loose which does not make sense they should drop it to just there final score then maybe people will try to win so they get a higher multiplier and more points in process .

Last night was a failure on all parts i will hold my hands up and just say i was not doing a good enough job leading the squad .
We had 7 on only 3 of us using comms and we only used them when we were getting battered , promise to pull my socks up guys :) we are missing wookiee and ironak though they keep the infiltrators and marksmen at bay more than we take them credit for .
 
i think one of the problems last night is we concentrated on getting the spawns especially on malwr, which i think was in determent on the doing the objectives, yes its nice to have both spawns but its not essential, if you cant get 1 then you can camp it to stop them spawning there whilst the rest of the team can do the objectives.

Yeah sure seems like a idea if we cannot control all the spawns on the map .operations to me still seems to run better but i do enjoy warzone when most regulars are on and were using comms for planning .

Why were you unable to capture a spawn point with 7 people? Did they have lots of tacticians?

No not a lot of tachs a lot of marksmen with assault rifles and infiltrators it was on mwlar graveyard they used the crusher to good effect and backed up with medics .
To be honest i think they worked really well together and used the air strikes well , but it certainly did not help me running into every C4 on the map :D also there were many rocketeers which im learning to despise :(

Yeah, that certainly sounds tricky. Invisible people blocking your radar is not good. :D
 
Well. I've seen it all now. Infiltrator guy with the petrusite battery. Walks straight over THREE proximity mines, gets shot at by a bot and still plants the battery in the power core. This game is seriously ***** up at times.
 
Wahts truly annoying is when u chuck a nade thru a door or window, the trajectory is fine , looks like its going to go thru then all of a sudden it hits the side or the top of the door and bounces back, same with rockets the amont of times ive aimed at the center for it to swerve up or to the side and not go thru.

How about this one then - I was playing as a medic and threw the mortar target thingy. It bounced off my medibot and landed right on top of me. Hence I got blown to pieces. :D
 
SO...... patch 1.08.

Anyone tell me if they have yet done anything about frame-rate in MP? Warzone in particular?

Can still be tempted back to this game, but only if they get it running smoothly.

Im yet to download the path but i will let you know if there are any improvements once psn is back up and i get get the update ;) .
I only seem to get issues and framerate drops when we are playing against the u.s or people who are logging in on european servers and there really a different region .
I really dont think a lot of brits play this game and there usually the games that run best but that is very rare indeed .

What about firing a rocket and a medic runs past and the medi bot flies infront of you just when u fired and it goes off in ur face, happend a few times,

Not seen that error before but then i only seen the common one 20002 or whatever it was that happened more before patch 1.7 .
I hope you can get on over the weekend din really starting to like operations now :)

Due to PSN being down, took the opportunity to try out the single player, got hooked as its seriously good and completed it after 2 marathon gaming sessions using the sharpshooter and move. Really good story, fresh environments and constantly changing arsenal and enemies to keep you on your toes and entertained.

One of the few games where I've actually got a real feel for some of the weapons as well when you KNOW they are powerful and accurate. The minigun being a prime example where you tear people to pieces with it with ease.

As for the sharpshooter, only weird thing for me was turning around quickly which is actually quite hard to pull off with the sharpshooter without tweeking the sensitivity settings to suit your tastes properly (which I didn't stupidly). Zooming in is a shoulder button which is far less clunky than the R3 stick button and the PS move button which is right below the trigger is nice for cover/crouching and secondary fire in vehicles etc. Reloading the weapons via the pump action part of the sharp shooter never gets old and I much prefer that over the reload button on the bottom of the "mag" chamber as you dont need to move either of your hands to do it. As for the accuracy of it, its the closest I've been to using a keyboard and move on a console game yet without actually using a keyboard and mouse! Headshot galore on killzone with camera lock mode only (whats used in multiplayer so no autoaiming) is easy as pie.

Highly recommend both the game and the sharpshooter for it :)
 
will add you soon as psn is back up bud ;) yeah i played the sp with move and 3d and it rocked did go back to pad to do it on elite though . hopefully this 1.8 patch sorted a few issues just i have not manage to try yet.

Okies I'll look out for the request mate :)
