Killzone 3(maybe official thread?)

Yeah, I'm afraid I've given up. The lag is horrendous after playing KZ3 and I haven't got the patience to flounder on with KZ2 trying to unlock the classes. The maps aren't that interesting - they're HUGE which means it takes ages to get anywhere and they are all dreary and dingy. :p

I'll be buying the new map pack tomorrow and playing that instead.
 
pyrrhus was my favourite map on killzone 2 ocuk had it as there home map when we entered the forum compo with avf eurogamer and the others .

the map im looking foward to most is lente missle base dont really play warfare much if at all hopefully be more on to try the new maps out in the coming days .
and ic1male what account you playing killzone 3 on dont see your stats changing even on compare i know the scoreboard needs fixing so is it that ?

i know you said huge fps drops but i only noticed it in akmire snowdrift and the dam level but since patch 1.8 there have been plenty of lock ups that last a second or so :(

we seem to play operations more now so less people on or spread out more so fps dont seem as badly affected now to when it 1st got released . warzone can be laggy but had some lag free games the past few nights it runs better just europeans on i find .
 
it was in the whats new section or use search ;) had some brill games last night 6 of us on we dominated in operations . The leaderboard seemed to work last night and there has been no new patch . going to see if there is one now for this map pack even though the trophies were added last patch whatever number that was .
 
Brought this for a £10 this afternoon :D

Looking forward to seeing what its like, might even jump on for a few games !

Got the pack installed, will be up for some games later! Looking forward to Tharsis Depot, and the two new ones.

There's a decent roster of maps for KZ3 now, shame they havent given us another Operations map or two. I guess they would have to get Ray Winstone to do a load more voice recordings for the Helgast General. Still, maybe there were a few Operations maps that didn't make it into the final game, if they have the recordings and everything for them hopefully they release them at some point.
 
triple xp weekend this will hopefully get me off the last 2 levels i have got all the weapons and abilitys done so got nothing to spend points on anyway now :(
The new maps are good but i do think they should have made tharsis depot warzone and lent missile base guerrilla warfare due to it being that open .
loving radec academy though a really good warzone map they have changed a few of the corridoors and back alley ways but i find it a well balanced map .
 
Soz just saw this - just got off KZ3, like one of the new Warzone maps (the KZ2 one) but not the other. Far too open when you get to the top of it and has multiple levels with one of the tach spawns at the top of the tower - so like a castle once you have that its quite easy to control the map...

Deffo up Dead Nation but a bit late now with people going to sleep - next time?

The Tharsis Depot remake is absolutely fantastic, by the way. After you left last night Stella, I had a good few rounds on it, with Funk. It's Guerilla Warfare only, but there's tons of jet packs everywhere, which gives a whole new spin on the game. The roofs of the whole map are now accessible, and there are various multi level structures, most awesome jet pack battles ensue.

Plus, no joke, it's graphically the best looking KZ map so far!

What's the cheapest voucher I can buy from the high street shops ?? or just use my credit card on the PSN store :confused:
 
High Street? Hmm I doubt youll find anything but RRP pricing - perhaps the supermarkets might be better?

Great games the last few days - nice to have a nearly full squad for a change and dominating. Triple XP :D

The cheapest one i have seen in a game shop is £10.00 ones im sure they go up to 50 though :)

sorry i missed you earlier pol just jumped on 10 minutes after you left had a right blast on the new map radec academy we pulled the rocket launchers out at 6-0 and sent them packing :D
