The numbers look very competitive, especially for the price (which size have you found for sub £70?). Similar in speed to the OCZ Agility Series 30GB, for around half the price.

However, I don't know whether these are designed for desktops as they are in the Industrial range. There are a couple of things that stand out from having a quick glance at the specs - No mention of cache size, S.M.A.R.T support or which controller it uses. I'm not sure how much of a problem these things are so would require some further research on your behalf, sorry. Someone with a bit more knowledge will undoubtedly reply soon anyway.

EDIT: It seems to me that the drive you have linked uses the ill-fated JMicron controller which has a bad reputation. Possibly the price is reflecting this?

controller can make a MASSIVE differance.
linky to data sheet of the non-industral MLC drive (KSD-SA25.1-032MJ) note missing "I" at end of code.
Don't have the knowlage to guess the controler for that results

A little more digging and kingspec use JMicron, Hyperstone and SMI controllers - looks like this is a JMicron :(

What is so bad about these JMicron controllers

From previous threads/articles I have read, I seem to remember that drives which rely on the JMicron controller can suffer from stuttering. Google will give you a more complete answer but I think that is basically it in a nutshell.

A little more digging and it seems these are a bit of a false economy
i would see an inital boost when booting and loading progs but with large amounts of data flying about i would be better with an old ata66 ide drive.
i think i'll give these ones a miss and keep looking.
