I’m 20 minutes in to kcd2 and now I would say 100% play the first one if you can. Or at least watch a recap on YouTube. I’m grinning already at the main character dynamics in the cutscenes.

Avoid the ‘a woman’s lot’ DLC if you want to save time (although it is very good, it’s long and will add hours to the start of your game. It’s abstract) Definitely do the ‘hans capon’ DLC. The other one, ‘band of ********’ is also good but skip it if you’re in a hurry to play kcd2

Wow, I'm only 20 mins in but this game looks amazing and runs incredibly well!!! 7800X3D and 4070 Ti Super, running 1440p, Ultra, DLSS Quality and I'm getting solid 120fps (my current refresh rate on monitor)
 
Started playing this, only managed a bit, but runs great 4k mostly high and dlss quality, spent about twenty minutes just trying to win a ring at dice. Good sign for the longevity

I've only had a chance to play it for a couple of hours, including time messing with gfx settings, but it's great so far. Might try applying a Reshade preset over it later, just to enhance a few things.
 
Currently downloading the game.

Though I'm a little worried my PC might struggle a bit, so may have to play on low for a bit.
 
Incredible so far, I’ve only done the first intro part.

Loving the fact that the game doesn’t hold back on anything and a few scenes that have made me laugh early on.

Music is great as well.
