I finished first game with controller only and am playing second one with controller too. No issues.

Yes, runs fine. Much better than most recent AAA games.

Shame you didn't like it, but note that you didn't even leave the tutorial/prologue.
 
I'm doing some sword training trying to learn combos and my sword is not always being swung from the direction where the green indicator is pointing. Is this one of the learning mechanics that improves over time or is it just poorly implemented (playing with Keyboard & Mouse)?

Edit: this one I watched earlier is much better, no whining.

Bought the gold version yesterday. Played about 5 hours so far. This game is brilliant, really enjoying it so far. Great story, good voiceovers, looks great and runs silky smooth.
