** Kingdom Come : Deliverance 2 **

Any tips or videos for combat help? Getting absolutely pummeled if more than one enemy.

Spent about 2 hours on one bandit camp for a side quest, just getting owned - one enemy who was armoured up took about 10 mins of me being tactical to get him down

Try that helped me a little

My biggest gripe is the game world while looking amazing is empty and static unless you in or near the towns, not what i like in open world games at all.

Stop calling my country empty and static, thanks

Lmao, I hope I will not miss this questline
I love eastern european writing, so refreshing compared to the western leftist slop

Once you get Mutt it will get much easier! However make sure to level up your stats ie going into them and picking a few good ones. I forgot to do this for awhile

A good tip for this would be wait til 12-1am and sneak in at night with the dagger. At least 3 of them will be sleeping.

Voivode quest line annoyance:

The horse race against Tibor.... why is the route not highlighted some how?

I am racing and the only way I know which direction to go in is to follow Tibor.

You have to literally lose the race a handful of times to learn the route before you can actually get in front of him and know where to go.

The route should be highlighted!

Very annoying.

Voivode quest line annoyance:
I thought the whole race was well highlighted with single exception there being a turn needed that wasn't well telegraphed. Of course because I missed that single turn, I lost the race. But then I beat him fist fighting and beat Vojvod in dice, so it was fine losing the race.

Then by definition it wasn’t well highlighted. It’s a terrible game design that and leads to frustration. Like most I had to do that race multiple times to learn the track, because every time I got in front I inevitably missed a turn. How about some coloured flags at key points to mark the route? Instead you have to watch a quest symbol on a compass that will shoot behind you instantly if you miss a poorly telegraphed turn because you are watching the actual road and monitoring yours and the horses stamina bars.

To be fair there are some genuinely enjoyable and excellent quests and gameplay designs, but for every one of those you find an utterly annoying quest or bug. Nothing game breaking so far though, just funny or irritating.

For example I lose reputation and get attacked because I walked in to the wrong tent at the gyp… er I mean “Nomad” camp. Erm… I spent in game days doing the worst and longest series of boring fetch quests in RPG history for you and your family. I won a series of contests set by you and even then you were still trying to renege on the deal YOU asked for. Now you and your family are attacking me because I inadvertently set one foot into an open tent that wasn’t mine.

Hey I suppose that is historically accurate for gyp… er “nomads” though. So they got that right.

I was in Trosky castle trying to find the herbs for a potion and was found by a guard. He told me to halt as I was under arrest, I talked my way out of it and he said “OK be on your way then”. Immediately he the goes into a loop of “halt you shouldn’t be here”, I get a successful speech check, then I get a “OK be on your way then”. I haven’t even moved a muscle only for the cycle to repeat so many times before I am forced to reload. The problem was I then lost about 40 minutes of time as I had done some mini quests after the last save. I should add that the game force removed my saviour schnapps as part of this gameplay progression quest.

I could list more such bugs and perplexing gameplay design choices.

I know I could download the save anywhere mod, but you should not need a mod to fix a terrible bug that literally wastes your time.

Had a sorta bug yesterday which made one of the longer cutscenes more amusing. After completing a mission and reporting back to the lord. Capon was visibly drunk or tired. Lolling all over the place and staggering between locations :)

I think there was a chance to rest before reporting but I chose to go straight to the lord.

The game is so good, feels so life like that when these odd bugs come across more especially in the thieving scenario it comes as a bit of a shock

As others said some of the quests can be a bit boring or bugged but I find these to be in the minority so happy. I found the following quite amusing

The mission where the woman was kidnapped, I forget the name now, and had a knife to her throat, I managed to talk the guy down from killing her, she then kills him herself. I went to take all his stuff and she screamed that I was a thief and ran off to get the guards  I mean she just killed someone and then had a go at me for stealing his pants :D

Lol. I just used a crossbow to the head so never had that issue. But yeah, there are some stuff like that if they fixed would be good.

Basically games like this one should give 6-12 months and a lot of these things would be fixed.

But I really wanted to play day one for thus game and for £34 I am very happy.

Well regarding bugs so far fortunately I haven't found any, besides maybe a few clipping issues during cut scenes.

What the games needs is a few QOL patches.
