For those who haven't played the first game, how are you finding the story? Easy to keep up with? or are you having to google things to understand?
I have just got to Kuttenberg, doing what i did in the first region and doing all side quests before the main quest. This game just keeps on giving.

Have completed the wedding. Enjoying the story. I would say the dialogue checks are a bit excessive, but also not really an issue once you’ve got the right gear, that I stole in the first town 
Not felt this hooked on a game in a while. Exploring the 2nd map right now. One of the towns on the 2nd map is huge! Done a bit of thieving there and had to leave as the guards end up suspecting me.
Had to be done though. The gear for my horse is well expensive. 1.9K just for one item. I didn't have the cash after spending all mine on training which now costs 1.5K each time. Waited until 3pm and lockpicked the very hard chests in the market
Won't go back there for a few in game days now at least now.
Found one of the guys you need to look for who was about to be hanged by the butcher
Fantastic game.

That's where I am. But been skipping most side quests. I have played about 40 hours. Already got my moneys worth and I am probably only half done.
The story on the 2nd map is not as good imo. I have skipped some of the dialogue.
Wonder if it breaks anything
If not then why not use it, first person combat in this game is so silly

What story? I skipped all the dialogue, no time for drama. Spending all my time stealing from townsfolk, murdering townsfolk in their fields and grave robbing some poor saps with my trusty spade and then selling the gear back to the local vendor who looks the other way. Then with my money I get **** drunk and insult the local tavern wenches until I pass out, then rinse and repeat it all again tomorrow in the next village

Got there myself over the weekend - only taken me 50hrs to get this far!
Nighttime pickpocketing runs trivialise money and items.
