AngryJoe is such an OG. I remember watching his Dragon Age reviews like decade and a half ago, and he is still at it.
KCD2 review, 10/10
Generally when the NPC's say they are travelling shortly/ tomorrow or similar it means that they are a timed quest.. if they say they are leaving in the 'morning' then thats what they mean, its not like other RPG's where they say they are leaving at such a time when infact they just leave when you next interact with them. The game is great. Love the story so far.
Somethings are not well explained though. Like I didn't realise I had to escort Hans whilst we went to Nebakov Fortress.
Instead I stole a key got caught and legged it.
Passed some time so I wasn't wanted any more but then this causes Han's to travel back on his own and he wasn't very happy.
Game should be clearer that I had to stay with Hans etc...
Another annoying thing is the birds nests. Sometimes I knock them down but then I can't find them when they are on the floor.
Over all though great game.
I've added the first game on my list of games to play.
Also for anyone that hasn't played the first one its currently on sale. It's £8.74 for the royal edition on steam, so it comes with the DLC's which add many hours![]()
A few things they could improve:
1. Don't reuse voices and faces across multiple npcs in the game.
2. The accents are wrong for the setting of the game. We are meant to be in the Czech Republic and yet people sound like they are from Jamaica or Somerset/Oxfordshire/Wiltshire...
I mean to be fair, none of the English spoken in the game bears any resemblance to the "English" spoken in 1403 either (today we would hardly understand a word that an "Englishman" would say in 1403 its that different), so in fact none of the English dialogue should be there, it should all be in Bohemian, German and/or various Slavic languages, if we're going to be accurate about the spoken languages in the gameSpeaking of accents........I mean come on. An accent from a county that doesn't even exist!?
Yeah I understand that but to have an obviously American voice is just really weird and just shouldn't be there.I mean to be fair, none of the English spoken in the game bears any resemblance to the "English" spoken in 1403 either (today we would hardly understand a word that an "Englishman" would say in 1403 its that different), so in fact none of the English dialogue should be there, it should all be in Bohemian, German and/or various Slavic languages, if we're going to be accurate about the spoken languages in the game![]()
You're right, it shouldnt, but then as I say, neither should any of the English voices either, the entire thing should be in their languages and we have to have subtitles and due to that it isnt something that bothers me, I cant complain about that particular voice but not mind the English voices which also didnt exist at the time. If I accept the one I have to accept the other (though I should say that if it was me, I would have all the voices in their own languages and have the subtitles as thats what I do in every other game which gives me the option to not have English voicesYeah I understand that but to have an obviously American voice is just really weird and just shouldn't be there.
This 1000%1. Don't reuse voices and faces across multiple npcs in the game.
Japanese, now that would look odd !Anyone bothered with english is free to play with Czech VO. Or German. Or Japanese.
