Yes you should play the first one, and Henry is the main protagonist who you play for the entire games, besides the DLC A Woman's Lot, where you play a woman, quelle surprise!

I played the original back in the day, maybe to the half way point.

I then just watched a recap for this, if which there's some great ones. Sure in an ideal world,.playing through the original first is likely the best course however that just takes too long :D and to go from 1 straight to 2 would likely feel like a bit much of the same

Yeah that's fine tbh, but also then if they are so easy to make /buy.. why implement the method at all over just saving

Probably for idiots like me that forget and then lose progress :D

I've just played through the first and I have enjoyed it, but it was pretty difficult seeing how much better the 2nd looks and wanting to crack on with that. I think you're right about going straight from 1 to 2, I'll probably play some other stuff first and then pick up 2 in a couple of months.

It's nettle and belladonna I believe, is this an alternative way if doing it? But yes it is quite easy and with the right perks you can make 6 in one go.

The eyebright / sage one is a secret recipe, might be a bug, who knows but it's much faster and less prone to errors.

What graphics settings can I get away with upping that mainly use VRAM instead of general GPU power? I've got textures set to experimental but have a lot of VRAM left over to utilise.

I replayed through 1 in January and then when KCD2 launched I was too burnt out to play it. Still am, will give it another couple of months before I play it :D
