Never even heard about the first one. Doesn't seem to have gotten the same traction as this new one which has been heavily advertised

Only reason why I never played the first was because it scored in the 70s on Metacritic and with so many games to play I never got round to it.

The first is just as good story wise as the second game honestly. Maybe not as blockbuster-y. But the content is there with some great side quests.

That was mostly because of buggy launch and poor console performance. Both are non-issue on PC today, and first game is fantastic in its own right (on PC).

I just fed him spoilt wolf meat in my play through. He seemed to not care.

He runs away. Not forever though.

He’s great..until you go sneaking at night, he then starts scrapping with the other dogs / animals making a right ruckus. Edit, okay well not actually scrapping but he barks like mad

Patting him on the head is harder than remembering to feed him. I try but I end up doing squats as he turns round

I did.. and never went back poor bugger is probably still waiting.

He’s great for the start of the game when facing more than two bandits though. He should have had storage space like the horse.

When you hold the LB button (or RB? on controller, not sure what it is on keyboard) he stays in place so you can come to him and pet him.

After 45+ hours I'm finally at Kuttenberg. I've done so much stealing it's unreal. I must have about 75k worth of weapons, armour, and all sorts of other things in my chest at the tavern waiting to sell when it is no longer showing as stolen. It's so fun!

I did the same, there is some great stealing to be done in kuttenberg using the tunnels, I completely cleared out all the top tier armor at the shops, got so much I can't sell it all!!

Same for me, luckily I got the perk to sell stolen goods anywhere and just clearing out all the stuff now. I have so much money but nothing to buy.

That right there was the biggest issue i had with the game.
