Sometimes noisy air cooling has it's advantages.

I have finally got my 290Xs running on water and without the noisy air coolers I discover they have coil whine , fortunately with the case side panel on I can not hear it.:D

The Classified coolers are very quiet. Obviously not as quite as Water cooled

What a shame, I had spare block & back plate for you as well.

Yer, I remember but at the time I wasn't sure what I would do but going to keep it now for SLI, as nothing else coming for a while that interests me.

There are a couple of posters who are running these at 1350 at 1.2v on air. The main thing that would put me off on a lower-end rig would be the power connectors.

I would imagine at those clocks and voltages, gaming would be pretty epic for an air-based rig.

Hi All,

please keep in mind that this card is a special edition built to get LN2 cooled. Under air/water you will probably not see the fully potential of this beast but what I have seen it is still doing well on air with a litle overvoltage.
BTW, Benchbros did already a run on the KPs with LN2 and got some nice results, see more here http://www.hardwareluxx.de/index.ph...e-weltrekorde-mit-der-geforce-gtx-780-ti.html
