Nice!

That'd be quite expensive to make for 400k people. I wonder how many will end up on ebay on Sunday.
Depends on where they got the metal.

Victoria Crosses are still made from a Russian cannon liberated at Sebastopol during the Crimean War. Thankfully, they don’t get to make that many of them as they’re frequently awarded posthumously.

You may see them as free, but some of us feel as though they were earned and recognition for the sacrifices we have to make.
My OH will gladly sacrifice her keyring.

Seriously, if anybody else is like her they'd prefer the money used for something useful. I'm not blaming the recipients in any way, quite the contrary.

The way NHS workers have been treated and how some returning members of the Forces are forgotten about by the State and end up on the streets with mental health issues is shameful.

Really want to show recognition? Then treat them well.
