I fail to see how any kid at 11 years old can be this FAT !! I am a big guy now, but I was a skinny runt when I was younger because I played sport at school, ran around for hours after school and didn't eat junk when I was younger.

School sport cut to 1hr per week to allow for more core subject teaching. Children kept indoors due to proliferation of paedophile media stories. We all ate junk food, son, unless you were brought up posh.

Really? I don't particularly think this is the case. Probably more to do with the vast amount of in-house entertainment that is available now that wasn't available to most of us when we were kids, or at least was only up-and-coming.

I think half the problem is parents need the guts to kick their kids out the house on good days, away from z-box 720s and funstations or whatever they are.

To the point the weight warning on the arm sounds aligned with the fact the Ambulance service had to upgrade their ramps for "the larger generation" should speak volumes around the state of this country.

Quite the opposite. I was brought up on no junk food (other than the occasional indian takeaway) because we simply couldn't afford it. We grew and ate our own veg instead.

hmm dunno about that... looking at people of African origin over here they seem to have exactly the same obesity issues as people of European origin.

In fact its more acceptable, in some circles, for females to have a bit more fat on them..... dat ass!
