You can do a transfer but it's far easier to do a fresh install. Also got to set AHCI in BIOS and with Win 7 already installed you need to do a fix for it.

Fresh is best

In theory 300MB/s but it will rarely hit this.

May I remind people that Samsung are only offering £20 off their 256gb 830's and their current price is £199.95 so unless OCUK drop the price next week they will only come down to £179 at best .....

I think people had the idea that Samsung would be including the 128gb version in this deal but according to their website it is only the 256 and 512 GB versions ..... www.Samsung.com/UK/student

Which would you guys say in performance would be better, this Kingston SSD or OCZ 120GB Agility 3? Not too bothered about prices as long as it's a in reasonable terms.
