It depends on the kit car of course but caterfields certainly need care when they get big bhp. This video is of a twin bike-engined Westfield IIRC - probably with something like 250BHP. It looked a bit of a handful.

Your right, I should have really put a 'sensible kit car'

I can only imagine how good my engine would feel in a car that weighs 750kg less :eek:

The S2000 lump is a hell of an engine. What impresses me isn't the output, or even the delivery. It's the durability considering it's output.

Personally, i dont think the chassis can REALLY cope with much more than 250 horse, i mean they are only really designed to run pinto's/k series/red tops/zetecs.

Indeed, but its fair to say most people who are in the minority of buyer would benefit from instruction aswell.
