I have a pretty good local bike shop that fortunately had the gloves and the 2 piece I wanted in store, so got to try them on for a proper fit, they also matched online prices so that was nice.

For helmets, go to sportsbikeshop, they do no quibbles free returns on helmets if it's the wrong size or if you simply don't like.
 
@Kreeee When you get your bike you won't want anything to be close to you, Any excuse to get the bike out. :D
