** KITGURU's BRIONY REVIEWS THE KFA2/GALAX RTX 2080Ti HOF **

You know what i meant :p

If no one was buying them at these prices, then they'd have dropped long before now :D

Fact is, we'll pay owt for Nvidia, so who can blame them, for giving us what we want. :p

The'yd be off their bloody rockers, if they just said nah, even though we'll get 2k for a card no problem, we'll just charge £600 instead :D
Yeah I did :p

Sad but true.

Let’s see what happens with the 3000 series. If they price it like this again I will be going with a zotac 3070 for the 5 years warranty and likely keeping the card for that long before upgrading. Games will probably look better on a PS5 and a LG OLED C9 than on my monitor anyway.

I chuckled at 2:05. :D
Hahahaha.

Yep :D

They sell, so people clearly buy them. :)

Not that often from sales data that I can see.

Which is fine, these high end models are not mass market products. These especially expensive models like this KFA HoF or the Galaxy HoF or the Kingpin etc are designed for LN2 world record setting and not for the average gamer

Or people who just like nice things yes a reference card for a grand will give you same performance pretty much but some people want the more unique custom models maybe because it’s the design they like or chance of better clocks but for whatever reason all these crazy price cards sell particular stuff like Asus Strix which sell in very large volumes indeed.

The ASUS strix though I'd classify as a class below those I mentioned though (and I'm a Strix owner).
The HoF and Kingpin cards are a tier above the Strix/Trio/Extreme - and you can see this in world records benchmarks where they show you the card model, where you see HoF and Kingpin cards setting records, not Strix/Trio/Extreme

Very few of theses cards you can get off the shelf will be used for LN2.

Someone like Vince who does do LN2 benching will most likely get the choice of the very best cards before they even get anywhere near being considered for the Kingpin cards the end user can buy. Even then he will modify the cards so they are not the same as what the consumer can buy.

Having said that these high end cards are great for normal gaming with their coolers allowing low temps and low noise levels.

The HoF cards certainly look super sweet with their shrouds on

Yeah it’s certainly a performer we were proper happy when we got it too 2100 / 15,500 without really even trying and we just stopped there and did not try higher on memory.

We did get core to 2150MHz but some issues so we just backed it off instead of fiddling more and the memory we just stopped at 15,500 but it showed zero signs and voltages were stock so we will have a play in future to see what we can truly achieve from it but it’s a beast.

I find that Asus stuff sells real easy and for good £ on auction sites, just like Apple stuff.
So maybe a small extra is worth it.
