And to think thats just a small selections

Poor selection .... doesn't have any of the interesting special edition ones. Personally I liked the Green Tea and Cherry Blossom ones and would like to try the baked potato and butter flavoured ones ...

you ever heard the rumor that they got rid of the foil to stop druggies.

I don't know about that but 20 odd years ago if you came out of Kings Cross station you'd see quite a few 4 bar kit kats without the wrapping on lying on the floor where smac heads had just pinched them from a shop for the square of foil they needed & slung the chocolate away.
Weird how these counter culture things develop.

I don't even know if you're joking or not.

We've had green ketchup and clear cola though

And where are they now?

Where as in the far east they keep bringing put weird flavours all the time.

I love going into 7-11 to look around, you get all kind of strange and wonderful flavour drinks, sweets, chocolates, ice cream etc.

I have in my bag some berry mint from Muji, and at home some Mango flavour jelly gum sweets, had a pack of mini pretzel M&M not long ago. All from Hong Kong.

It changed when "shudder" nestle bought them, they changed the expensive French flour to the cheaper British flour. Remember the snap of the kitkat, they stopped using it in their advert also. They are extremely sweet now

I'm not sure but I think the two-fingered variety are still in foil but the four-fingered are in the wrapper. It's been a while though as I've been bang on the Kit Kat Chunkies.

Two fingered were definitely in the new style plastic foil wrap.

You can still get them in the foil packs. I bought a multipack of two finger caramel ones, the multipack was plastic and sealed as standard, but the individual twin bars inside were paper + foil wrapped.

Think it's just cheaper to do it plastic and sealed, probably lasts longer too.
