Knocked off by car

Last August I was knocked off and suffered a dislocated shoulder and cracked ribs but because I work in Claims there was no way I could do it.
She offered to pay for all my damage and put £50 on top but I am still suffering with my shoulder.
Funnily enough a couple of weeks later her insurance rang me to see if I wanted them to represent me to claim off her!

Mushty paid up, didnt ask for a receipt either, thought me might of rounded it up to £400, but he didnt.

Why cant you claim, its not a conflict of interest if its genuine?

Is that aimed at me?
I work in Claims every day and it gets on my nerves the people who want money for nothing and 9 out of 10 get thrown out anyway.
Yes I am still in discomfort at times but not enough for me to get £1000 and the Solicitor gets £10,000 (this is normal).

Sounds a bit like suffering out of principle? Why not get a bit of cash for physio?

This thread made me think about whether my Nexus 7, which I often have with me on the road, has a voice recorder app installed by default (it does not, from what I can tell).

I'm wondering if I would be thinking logically enough to think to turn the app on ASAP, after having an accident like this. What the driver says could be golden in terms of any future claim, especially if there are a lack of other witnesses.

Is that allowed? You need permission in advance to submit recorded audio as evident I thought?

Are there so many scammers (false whiplash/engineered accident claims the press would lead us to believe) such that genuine physiotherapy needs (applicant spending time attending sessions) and these expenses are difficult to obtain without expensive solicitor involvement ? - failing/failed system.

I thought the NHS was also demanding that intervention costs were met by at fault parties insurance if identified.
