Knuckle Tattoos.

I do wonder when the ridiculous taboo regarding tattoos will be broken, if you want to get your knuckles tattooed then do it. But it will effect your future job prospects depending on the field you work, and that's something you have to think about.

I have always wanted a tattoo on my neck, but currently my job will not allow this. The job im aspiring to do in the future will allow it, so im waiting till I get where I want to go.

I Love the way people assume things about you online, if you have something or do something others disagree with, they hate you, too comical :)

i like tattoo's, wouldnt ever get my knuckles done though, i still dont assume the people who have them done are ex con, thug like, thats silly.

I actually do know a guy (a mate of mine from dancing) with "HATE" across his left knuckles done by himself. He had then tried to do "LOVE" over the right ones, but couldn't keep himself steady enough using his left hand! So just HATE remains.

This is when he was about 14 (he must be 43-44 now) and a mate of his did much the same - they also did rubbishy tattoos (says they were like stick-men) on both their forearms, but they were so bad his mum paid to have a hawk and a panther put there on top to cover them up...

i think ill just finish the sleeve first and leave any hand tattoos or knuckle tattoos like someones said i don't think society has really started to let tattoos into the world yet and are still frowned upon therefore yes id probably be looked on as a thug :(

It's pathetic though, judging someone by their image is just stupid...Especially in a business enviroment.

Getting your knuckes done will mean that very few people will employ you. People will think you an idiot. They will think your the scummiest of scum from the worst council estate in the country.

is this sarcastic, i get the feeling that your being serious and taking the mick at the same time?

Not at all, I don't see why having tattoos should hinder ones performance. If they can prove during the interview stage for example, or have been in the current job for x amount of time and shown they can work...What the hell is a tattoo going to do?
