Korean Grand Prix 2011, Yeongam Circuit - Race 16/19

dont all the cars have that little vent thing, i thought it was to allow some are to cool the drivers a little :p

how exactly is a driver ment to activate that to stall the front wing?

put his big toe over a hole?

Yeah most teams have a hole in the front, this is the same but just channeled back over the front winglets. Its a manual system (f-duct type ones are banned) so just works by speed, so when going quick it will force the air to stall, when going slow there isn't as much air going in to stop it when cornering.

Dukes been doing a fantastic job and I think it's time for me to stand down. My work life means I cant do the threads properly as I'm lodging away so often and a tablet isn't the right tool for the job. Working away for the next two races and next year is only going to get worse as we start working in the midlands and east coast. Still got plenty of time to kill on the forums though, so I'm not going anywhere. Hopefully duke will want to carry on his fantastic work.

Hi Acid, no problem at all. I work for myself so can fit it in easily during the day and enjoy it. If things change just let me know. Thanks for getting the template up and doing a good job before :)

just a quick rewind to an earlier post, little known fact is that Button's BGP-01 chassis, number 2 which he used for every race in 2009 is one of the most successful F1 chassis' of all time...and he now owns it!

When he eventually got hold of it from them :p
