L.A. Noire Complete Edition Announced For PC

For those saying it's repetitive I don't think it's as bad as some would have people believe. On one of the desks you're assigned to a murder which turns into the hunt for a serial killer so of course those handful of cases are going to bear similarities.

I play it on an i7 930 and a gtx 480. Never had any problems at all with stuttering or the like. Even runs at around 60fps a lot of the time.

Ok but it doesn't run anywhere near as well on ATI/AMD GPUs and it ran smoother on my 5850 compared to the current 6950 2GB.

And there's plenty more users who had problems with this game despite having powerful PCs.

I am gathering excitement for this game and i am looking to put all of my preorders in for the next few months tonight, i have not found cheaper than ocuk tbh so i might get it from here.
The only thing putting me off is the release date, i would not hesitate if it was released a week either side tbh. I am just weighing up the possibility of it being reduced by the time i finish Skyrim(and maybe Arkham City)

There's a saying - "you can't polish a turd". As much as I love R* and even GTAIV, Noire is nothing but a tech demo for their new facial tech and nothing more.

There is more to do in Mafia 2's city than LA Noire and Mafia 2 was pretty much stale, even the Noire storyline is dull and repetitive. A massively overhyped title that fell flat on its face from a gameplay perspective.

^^ My thoughts exactly.

I played up to arson, not because I was enjoying it but because I was hoping the game was going to get considerably better at some point. I traded it in as soon as I read comments suggesting I'd already seen the best L.A. Noire had to offer.

Without doubt my biggest disappointment for quite some time, I'd advise anyone to do plenty of research on the game before dropping £30 on it.

Not true, it often runs better on lower end graphics cards and has problems with microstuttering.

I can assure you on a decent PC GTA 4 runs like a beast (I dont know anyone with a very good PC saying it runs bad) It has no issues what so ever with any kind of stuttering on my setup. I can spin the camera round and round it is as smooth as a babies bum.

I got it on the PS3 too. I enjoyed it but I must admit I got bored of it very quickly. It just became very repedative for me personally. Still I might pick it up on the PC when its on a steam deal tho :D

Right so they've fudged up the release date (same day as Skyrim and you expect good sales?) and now this.

There's my interest completely gone.

been playing this for the last couple of hours, looks like a 2 yr old game tbh and thats with everything maxed. gets boring rather quickly tbh i'm going back to playing supreme commander :)
