I think saying "get rid" because they had one drunk fight when she was clearly going through a stressful situation and he had other plans to get to is a bit much. Who here has been in a relationship and never fought when one party has been drunk?

Give her a call, say you'll leave it for a couple of days to cool down, and suggest that you will then get together and talk. It'll give you time to work out whether you want to be with her, and her time to calm down a bit and have a civil conversation.

It's all about balancing the crazy:hot ratio. She would need to be 10/10 to keep what you describe in check, so I'd say cut and run.

I told her not to contact me for a bit as I'm angry at the situation and I might say things I don't mean.

I'm going to text her tonight and cut it off. I got 5 months left, we both knew it was a romance that would end with me waving bye at the airport onto an epic adventure.
