We have a whole area of the house with solid wood flooring and I charge by the minute to fly across it on the computer chair.

Its not going to stay in perfect condition anyway. While its still looking nice then get a small rug as someone suggested above

IKEA do plastic floor mats to put on top of your laminate. Over time, the chair will scratch the floor otherwise (well probably not the wheels themselves but the bits of grit that get on the floor).
