Landman | Paramount+

So we're now 8 episodes into s2 and it feels like nothing at all has happened apart from a couple of meetings regarding drilling for oil.

We've had more plot from his wife and the old people than the 'main' story.
I still love the show for what we're seeing but yes I do agree that it is far from 'oil related' drama right now. I wonder how much of the budget is being blown on the wages of all the top end cast.

Maybe I had a 'normal' upbringing but if my mum had marched into school like that I like to think I would have been 'released' so they wouldn't have to deal with her.

Dear god what mess was that! Also Cami is a clown.

It's setting it up so Tommy / few others / his son start their own business, only other way it can go is Cami finds out exactly who she's dealing with and is going to lose the company and tries to get Tommy back (the cartel guy has already said they want Tommy and aren't bothered about Cami)

yeah was thinking same think they might even bump her off get tommy in charge. it was lined up in a earlier episode. she doesnt like you we need to change that ! its hes either going to run his boys stuff which i doubt it or cartel will make him the boss of the main company which is probably the way it will go. cami is useless the only way anything is has been done since her partner died is tommy done it or cartel gave her the money. shes done squat is useless. im sure the last episode will see this and how its going to play out.

Called it last week but hopefully this sets up s3 to be better than we've had for s2, you could watch the first and last episode of this season and have all the major plot done with, after last weeks episode it was good to see Ainsley actually have some character growth.
