Landscapes + bad weather = meh

Graduated filters are better than multiple exposures in that you don't need to worry about setting up tripods.

When in a landscape locatioon I walk around with the cokin holder on the end and the filter in its case in the pocket- takes 20s to put on. And they are so cheap that after a years use you can just buy a new one and not worry too much about keeping it spotless and scratchless. Sometimes works much better than just a polariser.
 
with a decent noise cleaner and low ISO originals i can multi-expose off a single RAW just fine, that's even less hassle that using Cokins.

Having said that I might buy the filter in that link
