Has anyone run Boinc on a laptop and is it likely to die after 24/7 full load ?
And, Silly question (but hey), I have a Pentium D820 system that is making my ears bleed with constant jet engine noise are laptops noisy after long use ?

Erm,thats the PSU i think...Mine occasionally goes loud..but i think its when it reaches a certain temp. it tries to cool it down. NNot sure though mate

Does the Dell 9400 sold here come with the backup/Windows install disks?
(So I can get rid of the Dell-O-Fide™ windows for a more normal desktop)

How did you get on with this 9400?

I'm waiting on one arriving next week. Got the T2400 version with 2Gb RAM, and the 7800Go. I can't wait to give it a blast. :cool:
