You could try going to device manager and uninstalling the keyboard driver and letting it reinstall.
You may want to plug in an external k/b and see if it happens with that too.
Check the connection on the k/b to the mobo and maybe take the keys up and see if theres any dirt or anything in there.

Depending on the make and model, They have either spilt coffee etc on it or the ribbon cable underneath that connects the keyboard to the main body has either split a contact or is loose, take the keyboard out and look for liquid damage and/or the cable being out of place.
well i just took it apart and none of the keys were sticky neither did any of the contacts because lose...
Its really random as only the "0" "6" and "L" keys do not work.....do you really think the keyboard is borked??? as all other keys work...
im thinking of replacing the keyboard but will be gutted if thats not the problem....what would you honestly suggest??

i would say it was the keyboard at fault mate.
Keyboards on laptops do fail, though its normally the mahcines which have the track point in the middle and the keys around that, which fail first.
I would say you have a 90% that it was the keyboard at fault. Random that its those keys though.

I googled the subject and found it can be due to spyware or viruses...
I also called the manufacturer and they advised me they have seen laptop keyboards where just 1 key has failed..
after speaking to our electronics whizz at work he explained how the keys are all connected so if keys were to die it would be more then 3...
when i get home tonight i am going to try running in safe mode to erradicate the possibility of viruses and spyware causing the fault and if there problem persists then i will have to replace the keyboard...
im not sure if running in safe mode would have the same effect as a re install?? for example if there is a virus then it would most likely load in safe mode as well wouldnt it so the keys wouldnt work...whereas a fresh install would totally remove viruses etc..
what do you think?

Hi, my name's Smithy, and my job is repairing laptops all day. 
By pareto diagnosis I would have your keyboard replaced. But having said that; where I work, if the part you replaced doesn't fix the fault then we can just send the part back as good.
Check for the obvious things first, eg loose cables. If you don't find a fault then I would think about purchasing a new keyboard. Then go from there.
