laptop question

i was just wondering, is there any programs out there that will remove all the s**ty pre-installed useless and pointless programms off my GF's toshiba laptop. it takes about 2mins to boot and 5 mins to shutdown, there isn't much else on the laptop apart from her colege work and few mp3's. i've de-fragged it, adn changed the boot disk prioity from DVD1st to HDD1st to increase boot times, but i know that it's all the useless, pre-installed crap thats causing this.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Have tried uninstalling the software via Add/Remove programs? If that doesn't work try ccleaner.

done the ad remove stuff, and i use ccleaner all the time, theres no reason for her laptop to be this slow.

What spec is it? Tryed re-installing windows and not sticking on all the crap?

go on msconfig and stop all the process' which you know are bloatware from loading in the first place. Speeds up boot times vastly.

my girlfriends toshiba has like a million bloatware apps written by toshiba just to replace almost every aspect of windows you can alter in control panel. pointless and slow. other than that theyre really nice laptops in my opinion

thnx will_3rd thats exactly the program i was looking for, i remember erading about it somewhere a while back and i couldn't for the life of me remember what it was called.
