I don't really need gaming on move just space on my desk. Thats the problem.

You're not going to save much space on your desk just by getting a 17" lump of junk. For that price - the laptop isn't worth it at all. Grab a Dell Inspiron 1520 to save the hassle, the Alienwares look terrible, not forgetting that you're willing to pay over £2.5k for dated hardware. Don't be fooled by Alienwares brand name.

I agree with all the posts + laptops will never be as good for gaming as desktops .

But back to your questions.. I think spending the amount of money on that spec you will soon be disapointed with what you get. If you really want a lappy of that spec i would certainly look at other makes.. I am a fan of rock.. very good and have some pritty good stuff out atm
