Large Case Needed!

Think yours is a variation of the Dragon, don't ask me exactly what though!

I have the Scorpio with 80mm fans on the cages, can cool raptors fine so I imagine the 92mm can only be better!

Mine is a oldskool style Scorpio, dust magnet even more than the Dragon! :D

Just had a look at mine for first time in about a year, the front vent had 2 full scoops of dust to remove. :p

Ta for the feedback everyone, sorry if im kinda taking over this thread didnt mean to just were chatting about large cases hehe!

Hmm I just don't know.. I need to order it tonight really in order to get it for Friday. Want to get it all sorted for the weekend.

The stacker 810 will cost me £130 (pricey really) by the time ive added another 3-4 caddy. But it will have 4 120mm fans. Two of them blowing cool air right across the drives and that now warm airflow blasted out by the exhaust 120mm's. Max of 12 hard drives can be installed. That price is gonna hurt but I can just bout reach to it...

The bravo, £70 roughly.. but no 120mm fans at all come with it so would need to buy two of them. However it is slightly bigger which is appealing. But will involve me DIY'ing it to allow for more than 8 drives. Would be the bravo I go for as the others Chieftecs have less 3.5" slots...

Christ I really hate this.. lol.. when you need to decide. Its not very clear cut for me at the mo on what one... :(

120mm fans do not run cooler unless you use the LOUD deafening fans.

All they offer is lower noise levels, 80mm and 92mm are just fine if you do not mind a but of noise.

Just thought it was worth saying, is a common misconception. 120mm offer a better CFM to Db trade off but 80mm can push just as much air in most cases, but at a few more Db.

Ah I see thats intresting to know :)... I went for the stacker 810 in the end... *gulp* my poor credit card lol.. should be here Friday. My hard drives really cant wait though.. I can't keep this abuse up for much longer and expect to get away with it! Hope the stacker will be some what of a wind tunnel inside compared to my current cheapy raidmax
