Last day of the Premiership.. *Match SPOILERS*

IIRC Boro (could have been someone else) were docked points a few years back for not fielding a team due to not having enough players available.

Seems like the Spurs players are literally crapping their pants going into the match eh ;)

Yeah it was boro, they were docked 3 points IIRC and they gave 24 hours notice! Docking them points sounds like a good idea to me :D

I knew it was a bad idea to let David Dein cook the pre-game meal.

Sadly, I know which hotel they're staying in as it's just down the road from me. I can imagine them getting food poisoning from there. :p

Oh well, at least we know it'll be Andy Reid with food poisoning and it gives us a good excuse to lose fourth spot and still save face. ;)

Whole point of playing all the matches at the same time on the last day of the season is so that you don't know the other results before playing your game.

The more cynical might suggest that it's quite convinient that Spurs should suffer such a thing, with any delay/postponement of the match giving them the advantage of knowing Arsenal's result before playing WH. So for example if Arsenal only draw and the WH match is delayed, then Spurs know that a draw will be enough to secure first place.

Surely the game can't be postponed?

What if 7 Spurs player got injured in training the day before? You can't postpone the game. You have to put together a team calling on reserve team and youth players if you have to.

Don't know if it an advantage at all. It'll take some time for those players to be back to 100% and West Ham openly admitted they were fielding a weak team in preperation for the FA Cup final. The only possible advantage I could see is that Keane, Carrick, Jenas and Mido would hopefully be fit next week.

Crap. Litterally.

I'm pretty sure didn't give any notice, and I think that was the point. Middlesborough didn't even turn up for the match.

What was kind of stupid, was that by being docked three points they were actually in a worse position than sending the youth team to play and getting beat 10-nil. These points docked were actually the points that sent them down. :o

Thats a pritty good advantage!

I think it should go ahead with the size of there squad they should easily be able to get 11 men out!

+44

I wouldn't have thought they'll have any problems in midfield.
