Hello All
I thought i would have a go at trying to lower the volts on my opteron while keeping a good speed, I know this chip can hit 3ghz but the point of this test was to get the volts as low as possible while still stable.
Take a look at the outcome:

What do you guys think?

Sam :D

nice best I've seen on that lower voltage (mine wont do it)- should be able to push it little further with just a touch more 1.41v- mines on a freezer as well and sitting nice at 2900 (although RAMs on a pretty heavy divider as its naff!). tops out at 46 deg.

hmm may have to crank mine down, my 144 is at 1.44 but that was cus i wasnt really sure what to set it at so took a stab in the dark

if you say so, if all appears well from my sp2004 testing i plan to push it further on the overclock so i may end up going higher anyway, hope not tho

he's already hit 3 GHz

He's trying to maintain what he's got at the lowest possible voltage, if you check you'll se he's below stock

Hey... thats the same stepping I've got :) My 24/7 Settings, slightly lower clock - using 1.35v... but I know it can do more at the same volts :)
Forgot to take the screenies with Prime running ... :(
