Lawnmower recommendations - £80 to spend...

I have cheap Clarke 1270mm guide clamp, can use a circular saw, router to make cuts across width of sheet of ply.

Use to have a 8' one, but I bent it, & sadly you can no longer get them today.

The nearest thing I found which I could use is a aluminum trapezium straight edge.

What I also want is a Bora clamp, as you can set it up allow you to cut at a angle, but the price is expensive.

They look really handy actually, I might get one of those! (The cheaper one...the Bora clamp looks amazing but as you say is a bit pricy!!!)

This was what I ws looking at knocking up...

Handy cos it's exactly the right width for your saw so you can line it up and cut knowing that you're cutting exactly where you want! :)

I've been looking at all sorts of tools I have no real need for (BRAD air nailers for example) and find it fascinating and am looking forward to buying more tools.

I guess it's cos we've just moved to a house that needs a lot of diy done to it, so rather than doing it I'm looking at the tools and things I would use and imagining it all being done!!! lol

I think I'm where you are as well. Although I dont have that much diy to do I'm sorting out one or two bits so I've been trailing through the B & Q website looking at stuff I'm wanting / needing to get. A Ryobi Expandit + Cultivator attachment seems to be high up as I'm redoing the back garden! Also thinking storage for my growing array of tools. I cant keep borrowing my dads drill either. The list goes on and on :D

I might have to get my parents to sign up and force them to buy things for me!!! ;)

I got my lawnmower last night and gave it a quick whiz round the lawn which was getting really out of hand. I did a lovely job, the only problem I had was my complete lack of lawn mowing discipline! I start off doing lines then see a big long bit and I want to get it so I do and then the lines all go to pot and get completely forgotten about!!! :)

My Draper rotary petrol mower just died (snapped cable from throttle to engine), and I'm guessing it's going to cost at least £60 to fix as the blades also need replacing!

Tbh I'd rather buy a new one than have the hassle of getting it repaired.

May pop down to B&Q on the weekend :)
