Le Mans 24 hours

not from that footage but davidson was in on the stint before iirc and was doing a bit of blocking also, not as bad as that though. on a side note im still awake from 8am yesterday! its been a motorsports fan heaven this weekend so much to watch :p

Was a great weekend, Le Mans number 3 in a row.

Cost about £300 all in. It can be done cheap if you plan ahead. Tickets were 67 Euros. Camping was 25 Euros. Petrol split between 4 was around £80 pound. The real cost is if you drink at the track (6 Euros a pint)

Food + Drink from the local Super U is dirt cheap, fresh fish for the BBQ!! Its a great weekend and can't recommend enough - Ideally stay the Sunday night too. Slept 3 hours Saturday night, at the track the rest of the time and then left dead on 3PM Arriving home at 111PM. Knackering drive.

Also, head to Mulsanne on the Friday - Cheap(er) Beer from the Chinese and Supercars doing burnouts - great day!

Really disappointed with davidson. He seems nice guy on 5 live but he behaved like an ass this weekend. Even worse were the twitter comments with him thinking holding up somebody 4 laps in front Was "fighting" with hm

He has previous as well. Forced the lead GT2 car off the track and into retirement last year when he couldn't be bothered to wait a couple of corners and pass it on the pit straight. When interviewed afterwards he appeared to be of the opinion that as he was driving one of the fastest cars he could do as he pleased and the slower cars shouldn't be sharing the circuit with him.

If it had been an ALMS race he would have had a stop & go for causing an avoidable collision, strangely, driving a Peugeot in France it wasn't even mentioned by the officials.
