Loved seeing this. :D

Antony Davidson has been complaining about the qualifying. He is right, as a lot of the time you can be compromised by the slower/faster cars during the sessions, but this is a 24 hour race and it isn't that important. Would help avoid any big crashes though, which could at the least lead to some problems for teams if they're needing to do big repairs.

Ford and Ferrari both been pegged back a bit in GTE Pro

And the Corvettes and Astons sped up slightly too. The Porsche has been given a larger fuel tank allowance as well.

The Ferraris should have no issue as they have been genuinely quick, but Ford have made a massive screw up by showing their hand too early and giving away their dubiously gained advantage.

Why go to all that effort to sandbag and then throw it all away by going fast in Qualifying? Its not like its a rogue driver either, all 4 of them went for it.

What's to say even the qualifying time wasn't also sandbagging - that car was designed as a race car from day 1. It wouldn't surprise me if this wasn't also part of the game plan.

Interesting, source?

Where are the best places to keep tabs on news and updates during the race? Twitter I'm presuming but if there are any other good sites or sources...

The Ferrari 488 GTE has been handed a 15kg weight increase, with the Ford GT given 10kgs of additional weight and a slight reduction in turbo boost pressures from the configuration utilized in Free Practice and Qualifying.

Both the Corvette C7.R and Aston Martin Vantage GTE, meanwhile, have been given a 0.2 mm larger air restrictor, which brings the Corvette nearly back to the specification it ran at the Le Mans Test Day.

No changes have been made to the Porsche 911 RSR.

To be honest they needed to be a little bit more balanced, as the turbo cars are so much more quicker.

The 2017 RSR looks to be the step forward. :D
