*** League of Legends ***

right im obviously speaking out my arse again... so much elitism in here as usual.

maybe you should try him since the patch

I think the main problem is your build cost close to 16k gold, with that amount of gold ANY champ will do well in team fights, with better champs available to farm up that much.

Plus with so little defense, your two blood thirsters won't have the stacks to be useful as you'll die.

Was playing with my friend Cait today, our team was losing bad then this happened and made it all better.

Oh yeah and my friend can't spell :(

I have tried him since the patch, and I have looked at the numbers, and I am telling you there is no reason to pick GP over anyone else right now because he is simply too weak without the Deny mechanic.

Now I'm not saying they were wrong to remove it, I like their decision to be honest, he simply needs a lot more love to become a viable character without it. Because beforehand it was pretty much the only reason to pick him up... But those buffs will come in time. I'm glad Riot are taking it slowly now as opposed to before where they super buffed people and we had to put up with them until next patch day. Small buffs doled out slowly is definitely the better way to go.

Your builds hilarious btw, with an equal amount of gold I could give you a far more damaging GP build (actually probably for a bit less) and one that doesn't require you to hit the 40min mark to become useful. What you call "elitism" is simply good play, as I said before the majority of the mumble community is above average. If you came and played a bit with us maybe you'd realize that, or maybe learn something, or **** it maybe just have some fun :D

Been having fun recentely playing as Vladimir. He's pretty ineffective up until level 9 but if he's fed kills and/or gets good items he can steamroll other champions.

Sanguine Pool is a great skill too, allows you to get past a turret safely if you're chasing someone.

I can't stand playing against a good Vlad. I'm by no means a bad player, but I just fall to bits to a well played Vladimir

Oh look i've been snared/stunned/over extended foolishly.. i think not....

Sanguine pool is so totally overpowered, at least with other overpowered escape moves like Yi's ult you can at least hit him while he is ignoring all effects

Still been meaning to go on mumble, i have joined the channel a few times, but haven't dared join the lol channel yet ;)

The Tribunal came out today, although only in a limited state (3 cases per day). All of mine were certainly 'Punish'. Most of the cases available at the moment are probably among the worst.

It will rise to 30 cases per day once the system has been upgraded a little (site obviously cannot cope with the traffic).

The reward is said to be up to 500 IP per day, providing you're making the 'right' judgements. I don't really favour an IP reward for doing what is public service, so hopefully it wont cause too much abuse.

Do you need todo anything to get on this and is it on EU as well as US?

Please don't be worried. The pool of people that use mumble is around 40, I don't know everyone, if you're on put yourself in onlater if you want to just see what is happening. Every now and again a shout will go up for players. If you stick yourself in ready to join put a comment against you re what your ingame name is and maybe a level and what you like playing. It's worth getting into - a lot of us I suspect wouldn't be still playing without the community we have

I wish the free champions would cycle more often, I've got 6900 points spare to buy a champ with (I don't have any yet) and am unsure what to get as I havn't tried many of the vast selection available.

Also, is there much chance of someone like me (level 11 summoner) with knowledge of the game but not some of the fine details/skills of a pro to take part in some proper team matches, rather than the random players I have been playing with so far?

We've got all sorts on mumble. Whilst a lot are level 30 there's still quite a few that are on in the levels 10-20 range and we're more than happy to help people out. I learnt a lot more from playing with some of the experienced guys than I did from grinding it out with randoms.

On the topic of champions, what sort of champion/role do you like playing? I'm sure we can come up with some suggestions :)

Most players on mumble will happily take you along including myself (Xalan) so long as you listen to our advice and play with the team :)

Really think I need to trying to group up with you guys, sick of playing with people who are completely clueless or don't listen at all. Stuff like this, some of these guys had like 1000 games played and were still completely useless.

You're very welcome to join us but bear in mind we don't filter by ability so joining us doesn't mean you won't play with people that are bad but it will be more fun. Generally the skill level in the group is not bad - as a premade its better anyway.

If you rage then you're not welcome :)

Well I havn't had much change to try pure casters, but I do tend to enjoy the more melee/tank type champions that may not deal super damage but at high end can jump into a pack of enemies and not instantly die. I did quite well with rammus when it was on its free week but I'm not sure which champs seem bad because I lack the skill but will be awesome if I learn to play them, and which champs may seem good but are only when against players who don't know how to counter you.

Tanks/Off-tanks I'd recommend are:

Rammus
Shen
Malphite
Renekton
Cho'Gath
Amumu
Jarvan IV
Mordekaiser
Nasus
Singed

Of those, I'd say learning Jarvan, Rammus and Amumu would be best as they offer both tank and then jungle capabilities if you want to learn jungling (something everyone should do imo). All 3 are also great initiators in fights and if you want some fun you can build AP Amumu and AS/AD Jarvan instead of tanky builds.

All of the champs I listed see play in high-elo games so learning some of them would do you well. Cho, Renekton and Singed would probably be the ones with higher skill level :)
