click the speech bubble icon

type ocuk
click the + icon
click the cog icon , tick autojoin on startup

we dont need to worry about adding everyone as friends

Very nice i'll add this to the original post - although bear in mind most teams from the mumble probably form before they hit this stage it is still a very neat tip

Well I`m happy about this at least >

* Queue dodge penalties have been increased to 6 minutes for the first offense and 15 minutes for the second and subsequent offenses *

Its a definate step in the right direction.

Yeah it's got a lot of criticism on the forums with people claiming that they can just 'tell' when they are put with 'noobs' and so leave the queue. Even if this was the case - it's the whole point of adding friends and playing arranged matches if you don't want to play with random people.

I once got kicked back into the queue 6 times in a row due to people leaving

I'm not so sure - when you play in randoms the amount of times you end up on a team you know has no chance of winning - i'd take the 6 minutes to save the hour. Maybe they need to handle randoms differently, premades i'd agree no issue there.

Well it's a fair point. If you pick a tank and 3 of your team mates also pick a tank you just know you're not going to win. It's not a case of not wanting to play with random people, it's a case of not wanting to play with a team of heroes that isn't going to win you a game.

True. You could however then play a different champ yourself to balance things a little bit and like I said, it's only a random game - for me I see it as a general practice and I just try to improve upon my gameplay. LoL is all about teamplay and is more important than what champions people have chosen, you can have the best setup in the world but if you don't communicate and work together then you aren't going to do very well

Well for me personally, I only play pug games for fun and if I`m honest I dont care so much about winning. Its about fun for me and each game you learn a little more about other champs and the champ you have chosen to play.

Also, I think its all very well thinking `oh geez this team is gonna lose so I`m outta here` but the other side may be in exactly the same position as we all know pug contenders are not the most savvy bunch out there. If people from both sides randomly queue jumped till they found what they thought was a winning team, they could still go on and lose the game despite having dodged many times and affected other peoples limited play time.

When you play pug`s quite a lot (as i used to) you soon get hacked off having entered 5 or more queues that tend to go down to the final seconds of champ selection before someone quits and you have to start all over again.

Would be interesting if they allowed for a different type of pug game where each team had slots for dps, tank, ranged and support etc. So before selecting your champ, you would choose a slot and then move onto champ select....

Food for thought :-)

question: do runes heavily affect a champion. I usually play melee champs such as panth, so ive invested a lot
runes in armor pen but now i have the urge to play spell casters but i feel ill be way underperforming when i dont have the correct runes and it seems to take ages to gain IP.

Yes, Runes make a huge difference. I used to use flap AP for casters but I've now changed to magic pen for reds, mana regen per level for yellow and cooldown per level (I want to change this to flat cooldown soon) for blues. I usually use flat HP quints.

Regarding PUGs, playing for fun only goes so far. You have to have at least some intention of winning. The fun for me is from having a close game where you have to think rather then a whitewash. I would much rather spent 5 mins queuing for a good game because I had to re-join the queue then 30 seconds queuing for a crap game because either my or the enemy team has no chance of winning.

Another issue is that the game doesn't remove AFKers from your PUG. How is it fair that I'll have to wait 6 mins to start a game because someone else is AFK?

Maybe it's just me but I like the challenge of having a crap team :D

Here's a random I did this morning - i'm Xalan

Do not post images that contain swear words.

Ah Sorry - didn't notice that

Wife is supposed to be out tonight and there is no footy, so I'm planning on getting mumble installed and playing a few with you guys tonight. Knowing my luck she'll have changed her plans ;/

She got back early ;/

Went on to mumble, didn't want to be rude and just start joining channels, so what is the etiquette? Do people just join a channel and when there is 5 you group and start?

I started this game last Monday and so far, it has been my most played game on the PC. It's really fun and addictive.

Although I will say that everytime a new patch comes along, the game ***** up so much at times it gets on my nerves (Unable to log in, wierd interface or ingame errors). But then that's what you get for a free game.

It shouldn't be viewed as having the production qualities of a free game. I've spent as much as I would on a normal game probably more and for me that has been incredible value for money. I haven't had any interface issues you have been having - that's not to say they don't happen its more that it is worth checking in their technical area what is going on. I know that EvilOne used to get issues on finishing a game - not sure if he resolved them, I think he did :)

Had a bad set of games last night - nothing seemed to be flowing. Ended up playing till past 2 to make amends and it finally started to come together :) Apologies to all in my channel for any grumpiness - particularly in the first game :)
