For starters, probably:

Ashe, Kayle, Kog'Maw, Morgana, Sivir, Teemo, Tristana


Experienced players will notice a general theme, lots of range and either survivability or not too much reliance on items.
 
I had some idiot threatening to report me today as i didnt tell him that the guy in the middle lane dissapeared.lol.All he was doing was feeding master yi or whatever he is called in the top lane.He was 0-5 when he got killed by the guy who had left the middle after returning to his portal.
I have had a bad day for childish behaviour on this game :(
Getting slagged off for not charging in with Ashe and just picking them off from a distance.I tried to explain i wasnt a tank lol but got nowhere.I finished with 12 kills 5 deaths and 20+ assists.Im hardly going to tun to xin zhao and say cut me to bits please i want to wait 1 minute to respawn.
No thank you.I will just stun them with my arrow loaded with Ability power and let the tanks do there job
Hopefully i will get some better games tomorrow :)

Rant over now.I feel better :) :)

Just tried to create a game for myself against bots and it just keeps telling me there must be a min of 4players? I'm assuming the game is limiting the chance to practice privately against bots? Pretty annoying!

You can play solo vs bots when the servers not at peak time. So your best bests before early evening UK time...

I'd debate those characters - maybe they're easier if you're better. Ashe is definitely easy to play although don't pull your weight and he is a pain as I can find, he is also incredibly Squishy and very dependant on the items he chooses even if they are easy to choose :)

Alistair is an easy char - get close, stun, move ahead push back and he is very survivable. Cho i'd also put as easy. tbh Early levels pre level 10 play those that appeal - most people will be new to the game so it's a time to not worry to much about how well you are going to play. Generally where the game indicates the char is easy it is right :)

Are there any plans in the pipeline for new maps?? I think a few new maps with different monsters and bonuses would be pretty cool.They seem to add new champions all the time a few more maps wouldnt go amiss.

Also when i try and install the game on my laptop it always fails on the microsoft direct x SDK part(says part of the cabinet cant be validated.The client still installs and i can get to lobbies but when the game loads with the 10 charachters onscreen it crashes to desktop.Using vista by the way. Any ideas?

Dont know re DX

Maps though, even if they added some new ones they would rarely be played. HoN is a prime example as to why they havent tried it so far, people only play the same map.

Yeah i know people only play 1 map.I just like variety :)

just seen this quote in the forums of LOL off an admin i think


Anyway; Riot have said to check the November issue of PC Gamer for a first look at the new map/game mode, they never said what but it was mentioned on a thread asking for maps ^^

Anybody else seeing serious lag issues since their servers went awol? Just in the last couple of weeks I swear its gotten worse.

Ah i love Sivir. I have had a couple of games where people say 'Nooooooo not Sivir!' then proceed to show them the pushing power that she is good for. Running ahead of a creep wave, killing 2 or 3 spawns then retreating, keeping a beady eye on the mini map. its a fine balance between ensuring the creep waves dont encroach on your side, and getting yourself into those mash up battles for the ulti+starks goodness.

I currently play Amumu for tanking and Sivir for pushing support. Would anybody have a suggestion for a DPS hero which i am lacking at the moment

They are having some serious issues at the moment. They even made a public announcement/half apology about it aswell. It should still be linked on the news section iirc.
 
Had a very, very odd game tonight. Me level 17 and the usual level 13 < x < 19 for the other 8 players except for one guy on my team who was level 30. He played Vladimir and went totally imba early game onwards. Way to go matchmaking system....
