*** League of Legends ***

Have had some great games over the last couple of days, which makes up for my dire experiences over the previous 2 weeks :)

Culminated in an epic game last night, as a team we were getting slaughtered - Kog Maw was ruling the waves they had our middle inhibitor down and it was only a matter of time before the rest came crashing down when they made a mistake at baron which resulted in their team being decimated, after that it was a hard slog but we finally got the win. Still going to be one of those games where the end result was really satisfying but didn't make total sense :)

Have got myself addicted to this :p only started yesterday but enjoying it a lot. Still pretty crap at it though. Right now I'm prefer playing as a mage, die to fast with anything else haha. My first pc gaming experience for about three years due to me having a 360.

Epic game, reason why I like LOL so much, you don't know till your Nexus is destroyed who's going to win as a game can be totally turned around in 5mins :D
 
Servers were bad all weekend, experienced terrible lag or missing players.
I tried to play a game with McKnight and a few others, but lag kept causing my melee barbarian to miss target or run into minions which were not there!!

And yet you still get whinny idiots who fail spectacularly, blame you for not giving a proper 'assist' and then spam surrender. Its frustrating because as you say, the game can be completely turned around by a misguided push here or there, staying foward when should b.

We've all been there with the horrible lag issues mate, I wouldn't worry about it. Straight after that match the servers shut down for the night (or were so laggy and broken they may aswell have been).

Also bunny, that's why you should play with premades. Makes the game infinitely more fun.
 
Just for anyone who runs into the "Server Busy" thing - their news post says they are going to intermittently set the server to busy to even the flow of logins, there's a way to get around it:

When you open the launcher you'll either see a picture of Teemo saying "Online" or a picture of Blitzcrank saying "Busy"; you can get it to force to online so you can login by entering the Konami Cheat Code using the arrow keys: Up Down Left Right Up Up Down Down. I think there is also other variations of the code that can be used but check out wikipedia if you want to know them. And no, this isn't a **** take before anyone asks :P.
 
just discovered this and im a massive fan, its everything i love about wc3 with non of the base management :)

currently using morgana who is a BEAST and can't wait to try gangplank, vladimir, garen, xin and few others :D

Thanks Pulse, i've added this into the first page list so if anyone forgets it and needs it just view first page. In addition another tip is go into options and save, this causes it to retry. Saves you having to exit client and rego in - I was getting unavailable last night and this saved that aspect - also got round the busy prob as well
 
Gotta try that cheat code if it happens again. I just kept refreshing the game (f5) until it said online and clicked login. Took about 20 refreshes.
 
had some amazing games last night, over 10 of us were online so 5v5s great fun and a great way to learn characters!! thx Guys!!

I use Morgana too, quite enjoy her but not sure what kind of build to go with. I see mostly people go for a tank role? I normally go for items that give me good mana regen and ability power and spam the first two spells endlessly :D

Also been trying Master Yi who feels fairly simple to play and a good pusher.
 
Gah not sure if the server has gone down but just started a game, got to level 6 and discon. Eventually managed to get back in and 3 mins later, same again. Only this time I`m getting the `are you even connected to the internet` message upon launching the client.

So bloody frustrating cos we get leaver marks for this :(
 
Good to play with you guys earlier. :) I had a power cut last game and it has only just come back on so i apologise for that.2 hours in the dark was not fun lol as my house is a building site as i am building an extension.I will get my headset sorted and should be on for a few games on Thursday night when my missus is out :)
