You should only move to draft once you have a few things.
1. A selection of champions for at least 2/3 roles, you also need ~15 champs available to you before you can even join a draft game, this does includes free champions though.
2. Understand about counter picking, the heart of LoL and draft mode is counter picking, someone picks Garen top? I pick Kayle and ruin his day, etc.
3. Extension of 1, you should be able to PLAY 2/3 roles, a lot of time you flat out won't be able to play your preferred role in a draft game due to pick order (your team picks champions in a specific order).
Once you can do all those, you will discover Draft games are far and away more fun than Blind as you get to say goodbye to being hard countered due to bad luck.
Had a funny one tonight.
Played twisted fate and some guy claimed top but every time you even went near the lane he would start screaming. Then just to push him over the edge i was running away with next to no health so he turned up to help which turned the whole engagement so i turned round and got the kill, thinking a kills a kill. Then he starts whining about the fact i stole his kill. Am i not right in thinking a kills a kill, or is that bad manners in this game?
Agreed the community seems to be increasing, loving having new people into the group.
I have noticed jock your playing 3's a fair bit do you enjoy that and find it easier ?
Got the LCS up on my 40" lounge tv.
#yolo #swag
I hate 3's i'll only play it if i'm with freinds.
if one person on your team is crap your screwed and it depends heavily on champ select imo.
if you pick 3 champs with no cc your not gonna win.
Why would we make a new one? Mate this thread and the mumble community (also quite a few mumble guy don't even have accounts here nvm post) have been going on for 2+ years, spend more then a week to get to know everyone first![]()
People have explained its to do with the meta but i still dont wholly understand it. I get the impression its the way the games 'meant' to be played but why cant you play it differently? For example i had a guy calling me a noob simply because i was Garen and in the bottom lane. My initial pov was the fact the top and bottom are exactly the same, although i believe its do with the meta.
Also had another ks situation. 2 guys pretty low, i assumed our guy was luring them back, so i jump out and kill both. I thought that was a good thing but apparently not lol. 2 less champions on the field.
Thoroughly enjoying the game mind you, a lot better than what i expected when i installed it. It was just a bit of a punt cause i was bored and never played any other games of this type before.
Also, someone from ocuk linked me a youtube video explaining the meta as its progressed but i didnt get it finished and now cant find it. Whoever it was, if you see this can you point me in the right direction?
